Educated with a BA in English and teaching certification in elementary education from the University of California, Davis, I left college to travel extensively throughout the world. I spent two years in England, a year in Australia and a year in New Zealand where I met my husband. We moved back to the US and stumbled upon the idea of moving to Vail. We had never been to Vail before and were invited by friends to come for a winter season and we ended up staying for the summer and the rest is history some 26 years later. Most of the locals here will tell you, “They came for the ski season and stayed because of the summer!” Needless to say, we made Vail our beloved home. I am grateful to have raised my family in this extraordinary valley. My daughter is now a student at CSU and my son is finishing up high school. Both of them are exceptional skiers, hikers, and outdoor adventurists, just like their parents!
Having worked in the valley for over 26 year in many different industries, the service industry, the education arena as a teacher, as a business owner of my own tutoring center and then, 12 years ago became involved in the real estate industry. I began my real estate career in the Bachelor Gulch office learning the ins and outs of the market in Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. Then I spent several years in our Cordillera office and learned that particular market. I have spent the last 5 years in offices in the Vail core and consider myself an expert in the Vail and Lionshead areas.
I have a deep commitment to serving all of my clients to the best of my ability with an open heart and open mind to get the deal done. My goal is to find my clients exactly what they want in a home whether it is a vacation home or their permanent home or to get top dollar for those clients that want to sell their home. I thoroughly enjoy being able to share this amazing valley and community with others so that they too can enjoy the incredible Vail lifestyle in this place I call home.
